Background

We Are OPS collaborated with Better Bankside to provide operational planning and safety management for Frost Fair 2026.

Inspired by the historic Frost Fairs held on the frozen Thames from 1605 to 1814, Frost Fair 2026 transformed Borough Yards into a vibrant winter celebration. Designed to attract visitors, increase footfall and create an engaging cultural experience, the event featured live performance, interactive installations and family-friendly activities in the heart of a busy public space.

Working alongside We Are Placemaking, who led the event delivery, We Are OPS ensured all event operations, compliance and safety requirements were managed effectively from planning through to live delivery.
