Forward Motion In The Park marked a major milestone for promoter Forward Motion, representing their first ever outdoor festival. Known for curating premium house music experiences for a loyal 25+ audience, Forward Motion took its biggest step yet by launching its first dedicated outdoor festival at Leyton Jubilee Park.
As a first-time outdoor event, the festival required robust planning, experienced operational leadership and a collaborative delivery approach to ensure a safe and successful launch. We Are OPS was appointed to provide comprehensive operational support across the entire project lifecycle, working alongside The Fair to deliver an integrated festival production.
From the earliest planning stages through to build, live event operations and break, our team worked closely with the promoter, statutory authorities and event partners to establish the operational framework required for a sold-out outdoor event. This included delivering comprehensive event operations, event licensing support and detailed safety planning, ensuring the promoter could confidently deliver their largest event to date.

- Managed all event licensing requirements and regulatory documentation.
- Produced the Event Safety Management Plan and supporting operational documentation.

- Coordinated closely with the Safety Advisory Group (SAG), emergency services and local authority partners in Waltham Forest.
- Produced emergency response and contingency plans.

- Managed site inspections, operational compliance and documentation.

- Successfully delivered the promoter's first outdoor festival to a sold out audience of 10,000 people.
