Operations and Health & Safety: Mayfair Coronation Garden Party
Background
The Mayfair Coronation Garden Party was one of the most-talked-about events of the Coronation weekend, hosted by leading London property company and longstanding client of ours, Grosvenor.
Thousands of people were invited to gather in the beautiful surroundings of Grosvenor Square to celebrate the coronation of King Charles III across the weekend, with live music, food and drink stalls, and a large screen showing the ceremony live.
OPS’s sister agency, We Are Placemaking, collaborated with Grosvenor to produce the event. Meanwhile, OPS was requested to provide on-site Health & Safety, Supplier Auditing, Licensing, Parking Suspension and pre-event Documentation services to ensure the event was a success.
Challenges
Liaising with stakeholders, suppliers and contractors throughout the planning and live stages of the event

Adverse weather on the live day meant ground conditions were challenging
